Helping Hands provide a wide range of services to the elderly or physically and mentally disabled, varying from residential care to our adapted transport service.

Helping Hands was formed in 1991 by partners Neil and Pat Thomas, together with Sue Jones a former district trained nurse. Sue has trained in the local NHS hospitals and worked in both Carmarthenshire and Swansea as a hospital and district based nurse. Pat originally worked in administration in retail and industrial sectors, prior to training as a homecare with the Carmarthenshire social services.

Neil spent 20 years in the NHS, of which 8 Years were at senior Officer Level, in Health Authorities across South Wales. Neil has special interest in the provision of services of people with a learning disability. Helping Hands primarily provides its homecare services to people in the Carmarthenshire and West Swansea areas.
